Xangati Named 2009 ‘Cool Vendor’ by Leading Industry Analyst Firm

Companies Selected for Being “Innovative” and “Impactful”

CUPERTINO, CA, March 19, 2009 — Xangati, the company bringing service providers and IT organizations the next generation in application management, today announced that it has been named a “Cool Vendor” by leading industry analyst firm, Gartner, Inc. in the March 2009 “Cool Vendors in Unified Communications, 2009” report (Bern Elliot, et al., March 12, 2009).

According to the report, “The Unified Communications (UC) market is emerging and evolving rapidly. Enterprises struggle to bring new, useful UC solutions to their diverse user bases, while containing costs and leveraging existing infrastructure and application investments.”

Xangati’s Application Management 2.0 solution helps customers work collaboratively to understand the challenges of today’s increasingly complicated networked application environments, minimize negative effects of application rollouts and updates, and resolve issues in record time.

“We are extremely pleased to be named as a Gartner ‘Cool Vendor’,” said Alan Robin, CEO of Xangati. “We believe recognition from such a highly respected industry analyst firm is strong validation of our innovative approach in delivering solutions that help our customers perform their functions quickly, reliably and in a service-oriented manner.”

Gartner’s annual “Cool Vendor” report follows Gartner analysts Carl Claunch and Dave Cearley presenting UC as one of the Top 10 Strategic Technologies for 2009 at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo Orlando, October 2008. In a separate writeup by Yankee Group analyst Zeus Kerravala, Xangati was named a “Start-up to Watch in 2009.”
